Breaking barriers – Event on gender in media in Kalmar

Take the opportunity to meet with the founders of African Women in Media (AWiM), Dr. Yemisi Akinbobola and Bamindele Ogunleye. They will share insights from working with gender equality in the media on the African continent and beyond. Also meet Dr. Sarah Macharia from Global Alliance on Gender and Media (GAMAG/ WACC) who will present the Global Media Monitoring Project, GMMP, which runs again in 2025 with Fojo/Linnaeus as one of the organisers.

The event will take place at Fojo’s office in Kalmar on 10 June at 14:30 – 15:30. To register, email Fojo before 7 June 2024. ”Fika” will be served. Maximum 25 participants.
