A new study, that will be distributed to all media houses in Somalia, highlights opportunities and gaps in laws and regulations on gender equality in the media and suggests areas of development. The study was presented and launched in front of media directors and practictioners, civil society members and government officials in Mogadishu earlier this week.

However, there’s a widespread lack of sustained support and training in long-term media management. Det var en stor upplevelse att intervjua kungen, säger Tedros Abraham som under våren har gjort praktik på Länstidningen Östersund. När kungen besökte Östersund för att fira sina femtio år på tronen fick han möjlighet att träffa honom en stund. I sommar jobbar han som journalist på tidningen.
