Closing the climate coverage gap
Fojo Media Institute at Linnaeus University, in collaboration with the Communication and Journalism Educators’ Network (CJEN) Bangladesh, invites journalism, media and communication schools and departments in Bangladesh to participate in the AGILE project to co-design, adapt and implement an extracurricular course titled “Closing the climate coverage gap”.
This pilot initiative aims to explore how journalism education can better prepare students to report on climate-related issues by equipping them with the skills to explain complex facts in an easily accessible format for media consumers and to better capture their attention.
The objective to capacitate journalism students in covering the climate crisis.
AGILE is an EU-funded global consortium initiative that strengthens journalism education worldwide. Under this framework, Fojo Media Institute will support journalism education in 13 countries, including Bangladesh.
