Søren works as a senior advisor at Fojo. He has worked as a journalist, editor and manager in the media throughout his professional life. Søren worked as a reporter and correspondent for Dagbladet Information and Berlingske Tidene in Denmark during the years 1987 – 1995. He then worked on foreign affairs with a focus on developments in Eastern and Central Europe. When he returned to his hometown of Copenhagen, he started working as an editor and operations manager at Berlingske and had a number of different assignments as an editor and in reader-focused product development.
As head of product development at Berlingske and Orkla Media Corporations, he developed market and product strategies and change projects for established and start-up media companies in Denmark and in European markets. As an independent strategic advisor, he has facilitated strategy processes in a range of industries; but maintained a focus on media development and leadership with a range of assignments around the world.
In 2020 he started for Fojo – IMS media development program in Ethiopia. Søren is a journalist from Denmark’s School of Media and Journalism and has studied media management in the USA.
