Sofie is an advisor at Fojo. She has been programme manager for Fojo’s programme in Ethiopia for several years and was at the time stationed in Nairobi and Addis Ababa. For the past 15 years, she has worked with media development and global aid issues. Before she started working at Fojo, she worked at one of Tanzania’s largest media organisations for young people and with authority coordination in Great Britain and Sweden.
She has broad experience in project management, communication and developing partner relationships. Sofie has a master’s degree in political science from Södertörn University and Stellenbosch University in South Africa. She has also studied separate courses in gender studies, peace and conflict and development studies.
