Sofia Hultqvist is a senior advisor and programme manager with a particular focus on safety and sustainability. The role involves a strategic responsibility for Fojo contributing to sustainable journalism that is forward-looking. She also goes through how we can conduct our work in a safe way for employees and partners.
Sofia has a background as a radio journalist and began her career as a reporter and morning show host. For ten years, she then ran a research agency that used methods from investigative journalism to produce reports and campaign materials for international organisations. She has been stationed in Dhaka, Bangladesh for three years on behalf of Fojo to support investigative journalism. She has broad experience in advocacy work, in-depth journalism and leading change processes. Sofia has a degree in radio journalism from Luleå University of Technology.
