Paul Rapacioli is director at Fojo. Paul began his career writing for British newspapers and then worked in digital media in England in the 1990s. He moved to Sweden in 2003 and founded The Local, which offers news reporting in English in nine countries. Paul Rapacioli was Chief Operating Officer of The Local until 2018 and is currently a member of The Local’s Board of Directors. Paul has also worked at the recruitment company Reed.com and in 2017 wrote the book “Good Sweden bad Sweden” about how news mechanisms, digital communication and disinformation are used to distort the image of Sweden internationally. Since then he has lectured on the subject and worked as a communications consultant. He is educated in economics at the University of Bristol, England.
