Mats Amnell is trainer and project manager for the RTI Helpdesk (Offentlighetsjouren), Fojo’s helpdesk in publicity and confidentiality for journalists. He has more than 30 years of experience as a journalist in the daily press, the last 22 years at Sydsvenskan in Malmö.
Special areas are municipal areas, economics and investigative journalism. Mats has been a lecturer and course leader at Fojo since 2005. Since 2014, he has been responsible for giving advice to journalists on Right to Information (RTI) through Offentlighetsjouren. Mats received his journalism education at Skurup and has since then continued with university courses in law and political science.
