Anki Wood is regional manager for Fojo’s Africa programme. Anki has worked as a journalist since 1986. Among other things, she has worked at Dagens Nyheter, Sveriges Radio and the newspaper Omvärlden where she was editor-in-chief.
As a freelancer, she has worked for several aid organizations and authorities, including as an editor: Plan Sweden, Palmecentrum, Nordiska Afrikainstitutet and Sida. Anki has also been press secretary at the Ministry of Education and has worked with freedom of expression issues and communication at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science and French and a journalism degree from the Stockholm School of Journalism.
