Anna Careborg

Experience

Anna Careborg is the manager and editor-in-chief at the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. She has worked in journalism for the past twenty years and har herself participated in a number of courses at Fojo, among others in investigative journalism and as a course leader. Anna sits on the boards of the Swedish Media Publishers’ Association (TU) and Utgivarna (also a publishers’ assocation), which collects Swedish publishers.

Experience

Anna has a background in the field of international development and from journalism. She has lived in several of the countries in which Fojo is active, among others Zimbabwe and Zambia and today works as the managing director of the organisations We Effect and Vi-skogen. She has also worked as a journalist in daily news media and as an editor-in-chief. She also sits on several boards, among others Amnesty Sverige.

 

Carl Heath

Experience

Carl Heath is senior researcher at RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden. Carl has also been a special investigator in protecting the democratic dialogue and led a national investment in media and information literacy. He is active in the intersection between issues related to digitalisation of society, democracy, innovation and life-long learning. For over a decade he has worked with issues related to digitalisation of society, often with a focus on education. Carl can also be heard in the podcast Livslångt and in the previous podcasts of Tredje Uppgiften and Uppkopplad i P1.

 

 

Diamant Salihu

Experience

Diamant Salihu has worked as an investigative journalist at SVT News for the past four years. Prior to that he spent eleven years at Expressen as a news reporter and, among other assignments, international correspondent based in London. He started his career in journalism at Borlänge Tidning as a youth reporter and continued to Värnpliktsnytt. He has been awarded with Wendelapriset for best social reporting coverage for “Asylrapporten” and has written the book “Tills alla dör”.

Peter Berglez

Experience

Peter Berglez is a professor in media and communications at Jönköping University, School of Education and Communication. Peter Berglez’ research is about media and journalism’s role in an ever changing and globalised world faced with the current sustainability challenges. His addition to the understanding of global journalism as well as sustainable journalism facilitate analyses of media’s reporting of cross-border issues such a s climate change. Lately he has together with Professor Ulrika Olausson and others developed a masters program and a research training course in Sustainable Communication. Berglez has also worked as an expert or lecturer at Finland’s Akademi, Naturvårdsverket, JTI och NOKUT to name a few.
