Bangladesh: Call for application Investigative Journalism Partnership
MRDI and Fojo Media Institute invite interested media houses and group of independent journalists to apply for the Investigative Journalism Partnership (IJP). The call is open from 01 February 2018 till 01 March 2018.
Media houses with a proven track record of publishing quality journalism that have access to publishing platforms reaching a reasonably large audience in Bangladesh, can apply for support in IJP. Group of journalists with commitment to investigative journalism, are also encouraged to apply.
This programme is dedicated to improve the scope and quality of investigative reporting in Bangladesh. It is an initiative of MRDI and Fojo Media Institute, Linneaus University, Sweden under the project 'Improving Qualitative Journalism in Bangladesh'.
IJP is the core program of the project, where media houses and group of journalists come up with new investigative ideas. The project supports applicants with experts and resources to implement those ideas.
It is an approach to build capacity of investigative reporting, while working on particular stories or special area of journalism. Fojo-MRDI calls for such applications twice a year and each call has a time frame of 6 months to complete activity.
