Fojo Media Institute at Linnaeus University<\/a>, in collaboration with the Communication and Journalism Educators\u2019 Network (CJEN) Bangladesh<\/a>,\u202finvites journalism, media and communication schools and departments in Bangladesh to participate in the AGILE project to co-design, adapt and implement an extracurricular course titled “Closing the climate coverage<\/strong> gap”<\/strong>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This pilot initiative aims to explore how journalism education can better prepare students to report on climate-related issues by equipping them with the skills to explain complex facts in an easily accessible format for media consumers and to better capture their attention<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>objective<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0<\/span>capacitate journalism students in covering the climate crisis.

<\/span><\/span>AGILE is an EU-funded global consortium initiative\u00a0that strengthens\u00a0journalism education worldwide. Under this framework, Fojo Media Institute will support journalism education in 13 countries, including Bangladesh.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
